I'm Jen: long-time student, now lecturer, supporter of those with additional needs, psychologist, and always wife, mum, daughter, sister. I assist young people and adults to understand the ways in which they learn as well as helping them to work with their unique strengths and challenges. I also spend time demystifying maths and statistics for those with maths phobia. As a lecturer I am often asked to talk about studying (and academia) by students who are returning to study. These students come from all walks of life and have a lot in common in learning to navigate their new lifestyle of study. The blog is a way of sharing all I have learned in my own study journey and those of my students and I would love you to contribute to this supportive community.
